A sports supplement popular with fitness fanatics has been banned in the UK over fears it could have deadly side effects. The Jack3D drink contains a stimulant called DMAA (dimethylamylamine) which has been linked to high blood pressure, headaches, vomiting, stroke and even death.
Federal health officials warned in April that the stimulant in Jack3d, an exercise booster, commonly increases blood pressure and heart rate and can lead to heart attacks.
