Why is this happening? This problem is usually caused by a problem with the power supply or the DISH receiver.
Reset your hopper
Go into the room with the hopper main receiver. Press and hold the reset button on the front of your hopper for about 5 seconds. The reset may take up to 5 minutes.

If you have confirmed you are using the correct remote and are still having problems, press the Sat button on the remote and then press the Sys- Info/System Info button on front of receiver. At this point, press the Sat button on the remote control again.
