Someone posted a link to one of the other discussions. Edith Prior is Tris’ grandmother. Which makes sense since Tris is listed as second generation when in Jeanine’s labs. That means their first generation parents were born just outside the gates.
She apparently lived at the beginning of this new government. So she must be Tris Prior’s great-great-great-great-grandmother.
Edith Prior, formerly known as Amanda Marie Ritter, is the ancestor of Tris Prior’s father, Andrew Prior.
In Allegiant, Tris discovers that her mother is actually pure (deviant, meaning they are normal people like us, with no altered genes) and is from Milwaukee, not Chicago (where Tris lived most of her life).
Caleb Prior is the nineteen-year-old brother of Beatrice “Tris” Prior and the son of Andrew and Natalie Prior.
And she still knows how to fire a gun and save her daughter from drowning (15.115, 35.18). They don’t teach it at Abnegation School, but they do offer an elective on it in Dauntless. Just like Tris, Natalie Prior is Divergent (35.37).
Caleb Prior is a member of the Scholarly faction. He was born in Abnegation to Andrew and Natalie Prior. He is Tris’ older brother by less than a year as the two complete the selection ceremony at the same time. He is described as having green eyes with a hooked nose, dark hair and dimples in his cheeks.
Marlene was an initiate born in Dauntless. She befriends Tris Prior in Divergent, but has a more prominent role in Insurgent. In Divergent, the book, she gets a muffin shot off the head. She dies by jumping from a balcony as a result of Jeanine’s mind control in Insurgent.
Peter switched from Candor to Dauntless at the beginning of the novel. During the Dauntless initiation, he constantly taunted Tris and her friends.
It was all yellow. Caleb finds himself in a similar situation to Tobias in Allegiant. He betrayed Tris and almost killed her, just like Tobias betrayed Tris and ended up killing Uriah.
She was scheduled to join Erudite the following year to stop killing Divergents. However, during her year in Dauntless she began tutoring Andrew Prior, an Erudite native, and they fell in love. They shared a disdain for Erudite practices and decided to co-mit Altruan to switch to Andrew instead.
Her mother also reveals that Erudite has forbidden Altruan members from visiting her compound so that she cannot see Caleb.
So Four is not considered aberrant because he is still genetically damaged despite having the ability to defend himself against simulations.
She has a long, narrow face, blue eyes that are large and round, and a long, thin nose. When she looks at herself, she sees someone who is not pretty, and that looks like a little girl with eyes that are too big and a nose that is too big. She has blond hair, a long neck and gnarled knuckled hands.
Beatrice Prior, the narrator and protagonist of Divergent, is a smart and stubborn sixteen year old girl. Initially she lives with her mother, father and brother in Altruan, the faction that focuses on selflessness and humility, but as the novel begins it becomes clear that she is not at home there.
In Veronica Roth’s Divergent, Four is 18 when he meets 16-year-old Tris. “Theo James, who plays the love interest in my film, is 28, in the book his character is 18, but in the film we make him about 24/25.
