A beehive is a mini-biome in the Underground Jungle. The hive itself is made out of Hive blocks; Inside it contains pools of honey and typically a larva. Destroying the larva summons the queen bee.
The Beehive can be found at any depth in the underground jungle biome.
When exploring, keep an eye out for honey blocks, you can sometimes find some in more obvious places, especially on the water’s surface. This indicates a beehive nearby. And like most problems, Dynamite is always a solution.

Hives can also be found within the 4″ x 4″ spaces in cinder blocks and concrete, and if you have a shed for your lawn mower or pool supplies, hives can be located below ground. Tree cavities are a favorite location for honey bees.

The Honeycomb is an accessory item that drops from the Queen Bee. With this gear, friendly bees will spawn when the player takes damage and attack nearby monsters, dealing around 3-7 damage. After a monster is killed, the bees despawn or fly away when there are no more monsters around.
