You can only train Tailoring past 225 if you learn Craft Tailoring (requires level 35). Not every master tailor will teach you this skill, you need to find a master tailor. Horde players can learn Tailoring from Daryl Stack in the Hillsbrad Foothills at Tarren Mill.
Once you reach 350, you can choose one of these specializations simply by going to Shattrath City in Outland and choosing one, which leads to a simple quest .
Expert (150-225) – Once you reach at least 125 Tailoring, you have the opportunity to learn Expert Tailoring. Horde players must train with Josef Gregorian in Undercity, while Alliance players must seek out Georgio Bolero in Stormwind.
To learn a Tailoring specialization, you must be at least level 60 and have 350 Tailoring. For more information on recipes available for the three specializations, see the Tailoring Pattern Guide linked at the bottom. There are also two <Shadow Cloth Cutters> Located in Stormwind and Undercity.
You must be level 50 to become a Master Tailor. See tailoring trainers for names and locations. Previous recipes ranged from 200 to 275.
Once you reach a skill level of at least 200, you can return to your trainer and learn the art of tailoring.
You can learn the new TBC Tailoring skill from the Master Tailoring trainers in Hellfire Peninsula. Horde players can learn it from Dalinna in Thrallmar and Alliance players can learn it from Hama in Honor Hold.
To begin your profession questline, speak to your profession trainer Pin’jin the Patient (Horde) in Dazar’alor or Daniel Brineweaver (Alliance) in Boralus. If you are having trouble finding the trainers, you can go to a guard in Dazar’alor or Boralus and ask where the master tailor is.
The Master Tailor in Ironforge will teach you Journeyman Tailoring.
You also had to reach a certain level to learn the next rank. In The Burning Crusade all professions range from 300 to 375 (master). There are no additional internal ranks, and Master only requires a minimum level of 50 to learn.
Tailoring. Tailoring will be the profession of choice for classes that wear clothes, like Warlock, which is the strongest DPS class in TBC. The profession offers numerous powerful pre-raid gear pieces and also gives warlocks their best spellstrike two-piece set.

Learn Shadowlands tailoring from Stitcher Au’phes (45.5, 31.8), the master tailor in the Hall of Forms in Oribos, capital of the Shadowlands. On the other side of the leatherworking area you’ll also find merchant Au’tem, who sells Shadowlands tailoring and general trading supplies.
