The Ranged Armor Vendor was introduced in the beta version of the game to give away ranged gear of various tiers so players can fully test the Evolution of Combat Beta. The trader was located in Lumbridge Courtyard, at the south entrance of the Grand Exchange, in Falador Square and in East Ardougne.
Dragon Hide Armor is the most popular and recommended armor that players wear while ranking. Free players can only wear green dragonhide armor and must complete the dragon slayer quest to wear the body. Blue, Red, and Black Dragon Skins are only available to members. Members can also craft armor from dragon leather.
Nex lives in the Ancient Prison, a room locked behind the Frozen Door in the southern part of the God Wars dungeon. The door can only be opened by completing the Frozen Key, which is crafted by killing foot soldiers of each of the gods (Armadyl, Bandos, Saradomin, and Zamorak).
The Full Runic Helm is the best free-to-play melee head armor, aside from the Corrupted Dragon Helm.
The Twisted Bow is without a doubt the best ranged weapon in OSRS and the most coveted bow. It has a +70 range attack boost and a +20 range strength boost, but that’s not why it’s so popular.
Players cannot shoe hard leather armor. Studded bodies and chaps can be purchased from Lowe’s Archery Emporium in Varrock. Also available are trimmed and gold trimmed versions of the body and chaps sourced from Tier 1 Treasure Trails.
Siren’s armor degrades for 100,000 battle charges before falling apart and completely disappearing (“breaking down to dust”).
The best ranged weapon in pre-hardmode for a ranged build is the Star Cannon. This monstrous weapon pumps out massive damage from Fallen Stars, although the rarity of its ammo means it’s a pretty tough weapon to take.
Best ranged armor before hardmode? Necro is the only pre-Hardmode ranged specific armor, but Molten could be better overall.
Start by shooting low level creatures (chickens, rats, cows) out from behind a fence until you reach ranged level 20. (Switch from normal shortbow to oaken shortbow at level 10). You can also train with goblins until you reach level 25.
Active civilian Department of Defense personnel can now shop at Navy Exchange (NEX) facilities throughout the United States, US territories and possessions after the Department of Defense recently restricted access to shopping at stores for Department of Defense has expanded and Coast Guard civilian employees as of May 1.
In order to access the NEX online store for shopping, DoD and Coast Guard civilian employees must register for an account with myNavyExchange.com using their DoD ID or the last four digits of their social security number and date of birth login.
Nex is still relatively difficult for a solo boss. Nex isn’t a solo boss just because the game is strong enough that you can reliably poop it and you want separate time.
