Because Power Stance weapons can be upgraded individually, players can make the most of their weaker weapons’ attack power. This deals more overall damage than simply wielding a weapon two-handed, and the barrage of attacks can break through enemy stances more easily.
The Power Stance is Elden Ring’s term for gaining access to additional moves when dual wielding. All you have to do to achieve this is equip two weapons of the same type (weapons are already organized by type in your inventory). Your power stance combo moves are now available via the left shoulder button.
Power Stancing, players can use any two weapons of the same type in each hand, opening up a world of options for powerful two-weapon builds. For example, a one-handed sword can only be powered-up with another one-handed sword, and an ax can only be powered-up with another axe.
Also, the Seal of the Vanquisher allows the player to strike Power Stance with bare fists. Reeve’s and Orma’s Greatshields, when wielded in the right and left hands respectively, also allow Power Stancing, unique to all shields.
There are a variety of reasons to wield a weapon with both hands, but the simplest and most obvious reason is that wielding a weapon with both hands gives you extra attack power. While the damage increase isn’t as significant as you might expect, it’s certainly enough to make it a viable choice when a shield isn’t needed.
Katanas are a weapon type in Elden Ring. Specializing in mid-range combat, katanas are capable of inflicting slam and thrust attacks and, in many cases, the Hemorrhage status effect, which can deal significant damage. Many players choose this weapon type for its unique moveset.

Weapons for Dual Katana Build
If players want to dominate the Elden Ring Dual Katana Build, they need to invest in at least two main weapons that they will duel during their fights and the Weapons help them take out all kinds of enemies.
There are also different unique traits in Powerstance depending on both the dominant weapon type and whether it has a unique moveset. For example: If the butcher knife has priority, it gives you the Greatsword/UGS Powerstance moveset even though it’s an axe.
You can also have a crossbow in each hand and Power Stance two crossbows. This usually allows you to trigger both at the same time.
Powerstancing is basically the ability to dual wield a variety of weapons (or just two of the same weapon) and use them in conjunction with each other to create a unique set of moves.
Since regulation 1.11, Dual Smelter Swords will have their special attacks applicable to a strong attack with power stance. With 40 Strength, 30 Dexterity, and 8 Confidence, this weapon has an AR of 614. There is also an alternate version, the Aged Smelter Sword, which deals magic damage instead of fire.
Additional comment actions. Powerstancing is when you wield two weapons of sufficient power (1.5x the base requirement). Just hold down a button to enter the stance. It allows attacks with both weapons at the same time. It can be used in PvE and PvP.
