EAS Myoplex Original Ready-to-Drink Protein Shakes contain a premium protein blend for building lean muscle mass. They provide 42g of quality protein and 8.5g of BCAAs to stimulate muscle protein synthesis so you can recover faster and grow stronger.
This macronutrient blend is designed to support lean muscle mass but may be too much for some individuals looking to lose weight or control fat and protein intake. The Myoplex Lite Shakes, on the other hand, only contain 180 calories and 25g of protein per serving.

In August 2018, the brand was discontinued by Abbott Laboratories.
Original Myoplex returns under Bill Phillips and a brand new EAS. In July 2018, incredibly long-established supplements company EAS made a surprise announcement that it was discontinuing its entire product line.
EAS has now been re-launched by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, confirming that it recently acquired the brand, and it begins with two supplements in L-Glutamine and HMB.
In 1999, Phillips sold his controlling interest in EAS (although he remained on the board of directors for a number of years thereafter) to North Castle Partners for US$160 million. Phillips retained approximately a third of the company he sold in 2004 and is no longer involved in EAS.
Phillips sold EAS to pharmaceutical giant Abbot Labs for $320 million in 2004.
