The Salve Amulet increases the wearer’s damage and accuracy by 15% in all combat styles while attacking undead monsters. It is a reward from the Haunted Mine quest.
Crafted by using Tarn’s Journal with a Volley Charm. The following monsters are counted as undead: Zombies, Skeletons, Ghosts, Banshees, Ghasts, Ghouls, Crawling Hands, Aberrant Spectres, Shades, Ankous, Ghostly Warriors, Tormented Wraiths and all Revenants.
The Salve Amulet increases the wearer’s Attack and Strength by 1/6 while attacking undead monsters. It’s a reward from the Haunted Mine quest. To create the Salve Amulet, use a chisel to cut a shard of salve from a crystal ledge on the lowest level of the Abandoned Mine and thread it with a ball of yarn.
The Salve Amulet and its enchanted version are effective against the following undead creatures. All shades, namely: Shade.
The Salve Charm (e) is the improved form of the Salve Charm. It is created using Tarn’s journal in the normal version. When equipped, this amulet increases melee accuracy and damage by 20% against undead. To wear this item, you must have completed the “Tarn’s Lair” mini-quest, which requires the “Haunted Mine” quest.
Although Tarn’s journal implied that skeletal wyverns are undead, they are actually revived remains, while actual undead creatures have been brought back to life. This causes the Volley Charm and its enchanted versions not to work against them.
Does the Salve Charm work on revived creatures, such as those for the Arceuus Spellbook. Or is that something like the Barrows Bros? No, revived creatures do not count as undead.
The Salve Charm(s) can be imbued into a Salve Charm(egg) by playing the Nightmare Zone minigame. Penetrating costs 800,000 points. The protective value of the ointment amulet (ei) is 220,000 coins. When fulfilled, increases the wearer’s ranged and magic damage and accuracy by 20% while attacking undead monsters.
Since banshees are considered undead, the effects of the ointment amulets and the “Crush Undead” spell will apply to them. Using a Slayer Helm eliminates the need to wear earmuffs, although its bonuses do not stack with the Volley Charm.
For players with Undead Slayer assignments, the boosts given by the Volley Charm or Volley Charm(s) do not stack with the effects of a Slayer Helm.< /p>
Re: Galvek (Dragon Slayer 2) HELP
Bring some ruby bolts e, antidote and also Salve Ammy (ei) for undead bonus. Galvek works pretty much like Vorkath, move 2+ squares and you dodge some damage from the fireball.
The Amulet of Greed is an amulet that can be obtained as loot from revenants in the Revenant Dens. The Amulet has the same combat bonuses as the Amulet of Glory, but with an additional 20% more accuracy and damage when fighting revenants.
The Salve Amulet can be enchanted during and after the mini-quest “The Lair of Tarn Razorlor”. After Tarn Razorlor is defeated, Tarn’s journal can be found on a table in the next room. Using the journal with an ointment amulet creates the enchanted amulet.
The Ointment Amulet(egg) is an improved version of the Ointment Amulet. The Salve Amulet(s) can be infused as a reward from the Nightmare Zone for 800,000 Reward Points, in Soul Wars for 320 Zeal Tokens, or by using an Imbuing Scroll purchased in the Emir’s Arena.
Since skeletal wyverns are considered draconic creatures, they are weak against dragonbane weapons. Therefore, it is recommended to use a Dragonhunter Crossbow or Dragonhunter Lance if either of these weapons is available.
The shield offers two special properties: it behaves like a normal anti-dragon shield in terms of protection from dragon fire, and it also protects from the icy breath of wyverns, similar to that Dragonfire Wards Elemental , Spirit and Ancient Wyvern Shields.
The idea behind this is that the animated monsters you can spawn from the Arceuus Spellbook actually count towards your slayer quest. Let’s say you are given a task by Bloodvelds to kill 200 Bloodvelds. Bloodvelds is a quest that doesn’t really pay and sinks quite a bit of money into cannonballs.
