Kenmore or Frigidaire F11 has the same meaning, Communication problem between motherboard and display touchpad or stuck button, simply peeling and cleaning would fix it 😀
Here is a control board that a customer sent back to me. This is an interesting case where the customer received an F11 error code on the control board display. If you don’t already know this error code, it means that the control board has detected a stuck or shorted button on the touch membrane.
On some models, it is possible that F1 is also caused by a keyboard issue. In this case, the technical data sheet indicates to turn off the oven, disconnect the keypad and then turn on the oven again, wait a few minutes to see if the error appears again. If the error occurs again, it is definitely the control board.
Similar to a computer, electronic devices sometimes need to be restarted. To reset your oven, unplug it and leave it unplugged for at least 30 seconds. If the beeping sounds again after plugging the oven back in, the cause of the error code needs to be determined.
Some common reasons for beeping are: This could be the oven letting you know it has reached the right temperature to start cooking your food. When you have food in the oven, you might know the food is ready.
The F11 key is a function key found at the top of almost all computer keyboards. The key is most commonly used to enter and exit full screen mode in all modern internet browsers. F11 also has other usages depending on the computer and program as mentioned below.
Reset the display
To stop the flashing and beeping, press the cancel button to stop the beeping and clear the error code. Try the bake or grill function again and if the error code repeats, unplug the appliance and wait five minutes before plugging it back in.
Frigidaire oven keeps beeping
If the oven keeps beeping, check the display to see if there is an error code. If this is the case, refer to your manual for more information on this specific code. You can press “CANCEL” or set a new program and then press “START”. This can clear many smaller error codes.
0. The F1 error code on this model of the Frigidaire range indicates that the electronic oven control board has detected one of the following errors: Failed oven temperature sensor. Shorted keyboard.
This indicates that one or more keys are held down. Make sure the hob controls are off.
