For reference, any cup size with a 34 band size is considered a “true cup size”. This means that a 34AA is actually an AA cup just as a 34B is a true B cup. However, a 34B also corresponds to a 30D, 32C and a 36A in terms of cup volume. All three sizes above are B cup, regardless of what their cup letter indicates.
For example, we’ve had customers who buy a size 32A, but what they really need is a 34AA (because the 32A cup is basically the same as the 34AA cup – it fits, but it will also be tight around the band).
A bra size of 32B usually means your band measures 28-29 inches and your bust measures 33-34 inches. Being a B cup means your bust measurement is two inches larger than your tape measurements. As a 32B, your sister sizes are 28C and 32A.
In general, the A cup is considered the smallest available, but for some it’s still too big and compensating with a smaller underbust measurement won’t help. If you want something that fits your shape, you have to step down to an AA or even AAA cup.
Your breasts are unique
The average bra size in the United States is 34DD. This number may vary by country.
For example, if you’re wearing a 34B that’s too loose in both the band and cup, try a 32B. It’s a smaller bra, so the same B cup in a 32 is smaller than a B cup in a 34. If you have a 34B that’s too tight in both the cuff and cup, get a larger cuff and remember that it is the same with a larger bra. Letter cup is also larger.
Is a DDD the same as an F? It might seem confusing, but yes, a DDD is the same as an F – sometimes they’re labeled differently depending on the brand. After size D, you can either move up to size DD, which is equivalent to bra size E, size DDD, which is equivalent to size F, and size DDDD, which is equivalent to size G.
AAA batteries are smaller than AA batteries. This is important because battery powered devices often only use a certain size. Although you cannot insert AA batteries into an AAA slot, you may be able to find adapters that will fit an AAA battery into an AA slot.
Aa cup definition
A small bra cup size with varying measurements, but generally for a bust size up to ½ inch larger than the underbust measurement. noun.
Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust. Subtract the underbust measurement from this measurement. Use this number to determine your cup size b> according to the table below.
