Khajiit racial passives are both good for magicka and stamina based setups. Both Stamina and Magicka benefit from the additional Critical Damage buff. In addition, they gain 915 Max Health, Magicka, and Stamina.
Khajiits excel at stealth tasks, making them exceptional assassins, thieves and archers. Their excellent stealth level coupled with certain archery and stealth advantages make them very deadly archers, especially when using sneak attacks.
The Magicka Wizard benefits most from Magicka-focused races. We suggest using the Khajiit for the highest DPS, although Dark Elves and High Elves are both close behind. All three of these races offer excellent survivability.
Khajiit is a very strong race at the moment and does great with the Stamina DPS Dragonknight playstyle.
The Khajiit is the perfect race for the Magicka Nightblade as it gives you extra critical damage and better endurance, both of which suit the class very well.
Well, the Orsimer are obviously the strongest race. I would say that either the Bosmer or the Khajiit have the greatest agility, and Redguards are halfway between strength and agility (while also probably being the second strongest race).
It is best not to burden a Khajiit with heavy weapons or armor. You want them to stay in the shadows and out of sight, so light armor with the Muted Movement perk is best. Similarly, weapons like bows or one-handed blades allow the Khajiit to move faster.
Re: A Khajiit Mage…
A Khajiit Mage might not be the best first character, but it’s definitely possible. I’m currently playing on my Argonian Mage (in homage to my very first character) and I believe I’m a level 25 Archmage of the Mages Guild.
When thinking of the best race for wizards that ESO has to offer, either a Breton or a High Elf generally comes to mind. However, Breton wins as the top caster choice in terms of lore because the caster’s abilities involve the use of Daedra summons, which is a huge cultural no-no for High Elves.

Ork can be a decent choice for tanking, allowing you to switch as well and be a really good damage racer too. The auto heal is ok, nothing groundbreaking, but it might save you every now and then. The extra spell damage also means it can be good for a DK using Engulfing Flames.
Using an Orc is still a good choice, but at the highest levels the Dark Elf and Khajiit top the charts for best consistent damage. Khajiit may offer better burst potential, but the Dark Elf deals better consistent damage throughout combat without relying on critical hits.
