The best filler arc in Bleach was the Zanpakuto Rebellion, and it is one of the best filler arcs in all of the shonen. The level of detail was enough that it could have been a canon arc. It also helps tremendously in filling the world by showing how many ghosts looked.
I highly recommend you check it out. PLEASE watch. If you like Naruto and One Piece, then you would like Bleach too.
Arc Bount and Invading Army is something to keep an eye on as it ties into the anime’s main plot a bit. New Captain and Zanpakuto Rebellion Watch yourself whenever you want or skip. Don’t skip the Zanpakuto manifestation filler which was good.

The first 15 episodes are the best of the series, apart from 41 and 42. The series goes downhill in my opinion once it starts Soul Society again, apart from 41 and 42 which were probably the two best episodes of the series. Agreed. Before the Soul Society arc, I think it was way more fun and interesting.
