Places at drama schools like RADA are very limited and the number of applicants is in the thousands each year (from all over the world), so the competition is fierce. In order for you to have a chance of being accepted, it is imperative that you give yourself a chance by being as prepared as possible.
The audition consists of three auditions and one song. Each speech should last a maximum of two and a half minutes. You must also sing an unaccompanied song (verse and chorus only).
Prospective students may be asked to bring a portfolio of previous work and experiences with them. RADA FdA TTSM students are required to complete an application form for the BA TTSM exam and attend an interview.
RADA accepts up to 28 new students each year in its three-year BA (Hons) in Acting, with a 50-50 split of male and female students. Admission to the three-year BA (Hons) in Acting is based on aptitude and successful audition as part of the four-stage audition process lasting several months.

RADA does not currently have its own student residence. This means that our students usually live in one of the following housing types: with other students in private houses and apartments. in the local dormitories.
