Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02 and Digimon Adventure Tri series. Kari is a DigiDestined, partner of Gatomon and embodies the trait of Crest of Light. She is the younger sister of Taichi “Tai” Kamiya.

Kari is 8 years old in Digimon Adventure, 11 years old in Digimon Adventure 02 and 14 years old in Digimon Adventure Tri.
Mimi is 10 years old in Digimon Adventure, 13 years old in Digimon Adventure 02, 16 years old in Digimon Adventure Tri. and 21 years old in Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. In “Princess Karaoke” (Japanese version), Mimi has a great singing voice when she sings the ending theme “I wish”.
In the Digimon Fusion series, 11 year old Tai appears in the final arc of the series when he is summoned from his universe in his 11 year old form to help the Fusion Fighters. In Digimon Adventure Tri. Tai and his friends attend Tsukishima General High School.
Although Sora and Tai are somewhat distant in Digimon Adventure 02, the two still remain close friends as they still appreciate each other. Nervous about making her first confession to Matt, Sora is initially unable but eventually finds herself more confident after being persuaded by Tai.
In 2017, Kari finally becomes a kindergarten teacher and teaches at Odaiba Elementary School. The next year, her father survives a heart attack and she visits him more often, taking TK and her children to see him. By 2020 Kari has realized that she loves TK as a friend and not a lover.
Appearance. In 2010, Cody is 17 years old and his hairstyle remains the same, but only to show off his small fringes.
In 2005, Matt is 17 years old and his blonde hair has darkened and is cut short. His fringes resemble the same fringes he had on his teenage years. He wears an Odaiba High School uniform but without the navy blue vest.

In this series, T.K. is in the second grade and is eight years old. TK becomes one of the main characters in Digimon Adventure 02 (2000) along with Kari.
The DigiDestined have all grown up
The story has brought their teenage adventures to life and made them grow up quickly, but in the new Digimon: Last Evolution Kizuna they are now adults who early in enter their life 20s.
In Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, set in 2010, Tai is now 22 years old and his spiky hair has grown slightly shorter and has full bangs.
Digimon Adventure says that the DigiDestined lose their potential as they grow older and make more concrete decisions about their future. This in turn weakens their Digimon until they can no longer feed themselves. The bond is automatically broken and the partners must finally say goodbye.
Kari is married to Davis
The only confirmed couples at the end of Digimon Adventure 02 were Yolei and Ken and Sora and Matt. Other pairs are just speculation.
