Simply add a 150 gram bag of glitter flakes to 1.5 to 2 liters of Emulsion Paint, mix thoroughly for 5-7 minutes and then start painting. Once the paint has dried you can start buffing, either with a sponge or cloth to really bring out the shine on your wall!

Glitter pack recommends 2 packs per 1 gallon of paint (for LOTS of glitter).
If you mix glitter into your paint, use glitter made specifically for paint applications. Enamel glitter is intended to be mixed with paint and will remain suspended in the paint rather than settle to the bottom of the can.
To make your own glitter color, add your favorite glitter to Mod Podge or clear glue. Use two parts glitter to one part glue or Mod Podge. This has a very thick consistency, so use a wide brush instead of a roller to apply the mixture to the wall.
The addition of metallic minerals to paint can impart a metallic sheen or appearance to most paints. Typically, a silvery powder or pearlescent material is added to many paints to create that metallic sheen desired by many painters, particularly in the automotive or model making industries.
The glitter does not come off or rub off easily. If a clear coat is desired, we recommend Painter’s® Touch Ultra Cover Clear Multipurpose Brush Paint.
As you now know, we do not recommend mixing glitter in paint. You might see a tiny sparkle when you do this, but for the most part you just get clumpy paint. As an alternative, we recommend painting your wall in any color.
If it’s just glitter. You could fill in the gaps, but if the color is like a regular color but with added glitter, and the color itself is blotchy,you may need to start over with a good primer to make it easier to coat evenly with the top coat .
If you want to glue and seal glitter to fabric, we recommend using Aleene’s Permanent Fabric Glue. If you’re adding glitter to an old pair of shoes, glass, wood, or just about any other surface, we recommend using Mod Podge. Mod Podge is highly effective and will hold your glitter firmly in place.
