They will charge 60,000 GP to repair Barrows headgear, 90,000 GP to repair Barrows bodies, 80,000 GP to repair Barrows legs, and 100,000 GP to repair Barrows weapons. In total, it will cost 330,000 GP to repair a full set of Barrows gear from any of these NPCs.
Barrows equipment degrades as it is used. Equipment received from the Barrows minigame is fully repaired and can be used for 15 hours of combat until it degrades completely and requires repair before it can be used again.
Dharok’s set effect is Wretched Strength, which increases his max hit by 1% for each Hitpoint he is missing. Due to him being able to hit up to 64 at 1 hitpoint remaining, it is strongly recommended to keep Protect from Melee active at all times.
Players can talk to any of the NPCs listed below and they will repair the items for a price, or repair the pieces themselves using an armour stand in any player-owned house. The equipment can be repaired at any stage, and the cost will be adjusted according to how much it has degraded.
The Armour stand is a piece of furniture that can be built in the Workshop of a player-owned house with the Construction skill. It requires level 55 Construction, 8 oak planks and 1 limestone brick to build. This piece of furniture is useful in its ability to repair armours such as Barrows equipment.
There are two ways to repair Barrows armour. Players can talk to any of the NPCs listed below and they will repair the items for a price, or repair the pieces themselves using an armour stand in any player-owned house for a reduced cost based on their Smithing level.
Torag the Corrupted (Melee)
Torag’s is the Defence armour, as full Torag carries the highest overall Defence bonuses.
While Guthan’s is useful for Slayer tasks as it allows for extended trips, it does not allow for use of a black mask or Slayer helmet. Some players get around this by wearing a black mask or Slayer helmet and switching to Guthan’s only when healing is needed.
Broken armour can only be found by digging in the Digsite. It can be repaired at an armour stand in the workshop of a player-owned house. It will give 25 Smithing experience and become a platelegs or plateskirt of random metal, from bronze to mithril.
Ahrim’s armour set is an item obtained by exchanging a set of items with a Grand Exchange clerk via their right-click “Sets” option and clicking on the appropriate item set within the Item Sets interface. It is commonly made in order to conveniently sell all four components of Ahrim the Blighted’s equipment at once.
It is dropped by General Graardor and his bodyguards in the God Wars Dungeon. Unlike the other body armours which provide a strength bonus, the Bandos chestplate also has substantial defensive bonuses.
The max possible hit through normal gameplay means is 132. This is accomplished at 99 strength by utilizing the best strength equipment, the Piety prayer, the Dragon battleaxe special attack, a Black mask, and the Keris on a Kalphite while on a Kalphite slayer task.
