Luc Belaire is a sparkling wine brand based in southern France and there are only two varieties: a rare rosé made from a combination of three grapes and released in 2011, and then one Rare Brut, released about a year later.
But champagne is NOT sparkling wine – that would be Belaire Rose. A sparkling wine is basically any drink that contains a different level of carbonation than that produced in this region of France. Belaire Rose contains three types of grapes – Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah – like most champagnes and sparkling wines.
Belaire Bleu is a sapphire colored sparkling wine produced by the Luc Belaire winery (owned by wine and spirits company Sovereign Brands). The elegant sparkling wine is made from Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes from different regions in France.
In fact, alcohol levels rose much faster among fizzy drinkers. After just five minutes, they had an average of 0.54 milligrams of alcohol per milliliter of blood. Those who drank flat champagne averaged just 0.39 milligrams of alcohol.
How good is Belaire champagne? This Luc Belaire Lux is rich, sweet and smooth in taste. Wine lovers not keen on dry champagne will enjoy its aromas of grapefruit, apricot, honeysuckle and brioche.
