The technology on the ride reads your arm movements and sends the lanes exactly where you want them. The faster you move your wrists, the more webs you throw and the more Spider-Bots you catch, which means a higher score.

Even if there is a bit of variety, this is the basic driving style. Drivers receive points for taking down Spider-Bots, each driver receives an individual score, and each vehicle with up to four people receives a combined score that is published and compared to other groups.
WEB Slingers is one of the best family-friendly attractions Disney has released in a long time. We are super impressed with the technology used and how anyone who drives can actually participate. The story is funny and entertaining and even your little ones will enjoy it.
The final sequence, a 400-foot “sensory drop” from the top of a skyscraper, is so utterly compelling it will take your breath away. In reality, however, the motion-based vehicles never leave the ground and never move more than a few miles per hour. It’s all an illusion.
But the newest attraction is also one of those hard-to-get attractions: WEB Slingers doesn’t have a queue. The only way to board this ride is via boarding groups obtained during the virtual queuing process.
To experience Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, guests must join the virtual queue, which is only accessible through the Disneyland mobile app.
Although the story gets more and more intense as the ending progresses, it’s an all-ages ride, with no height requirements, and the emphasis is on fun rather than scares as you’ll see how it’s made would be to have real superpowers.
Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure is a 3D ride that lets you experience the world of Spider-Man like you’ve never done it before. They’ll even fling webs off your wrist…
All guests who wish to ride must reserve their Virtual Queue Pass through the app in order to ride. Since the new Spider-Man attraction will use Virtual Queue (just like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park next door), you can only ride it once per day.
Of course, Rise of the Resistance was more popular (it’s a very immersive e-ticket ride, after all), and those boarding groups filled up faster than WEB-SLINGERS. However, both attractions still had quite a bit of time for boarding groups this morning.
Web Slingers is an interactive dark ride in the style of Toy Story Mania and is distinguished by the fact that the shooting mechanism is based entirely on tracking the movements of the riders; no weapon or sight needed, just your own arms.
In order to allow as many guests as possible to join Spider-Man on this adventure, each guest may purchase a customized Lightning Lane Arrival Window for this attraction, at most once per day . p>
This article also noted that WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure would use the virtual queuing system. This will be very similar to Galaxy’s Edge as guests will be able to access a drive time twice a day, once at 7:00am and once at 12:00pm.
The attraction wears off incredibly quickly, making it easy to miss something flying by when the screen pans forward or down to move you through an environment.
