Point your remote at the TV panel and press and hold the TV button on your RCA universal remote. Once the light is on, press and hold the Power and TV buttons at the same time until the light comes on again. Press and hold the “Play” or “Slow” button on your RCA remote for five seconds.
Press and hold the code search button on the remote. While still holding the code search button, press the button on the universal remote that corresponds to the device you are pairing (e.g. if it’s a cute new smart TV, press the button for TV). The light on the remote will blink once and then stay solid.
You must point the remote at the device when programming. Press and hold the code search button until the light comes on. This button is usually located at the top of the remote.
Reset the remote control. Remove the batteries, then press and hold button 1 on the remote control for a few seconds to reset the microprocessor in the remote control. Release button 1, reinsert the batteries and press the ON•OFF button. If it lights up, reprogram the remote and try again.
The process is as simple as pointing the original remote at the One For All remote, selecting a button on the One For All remote and pressing the button on the original remote. Repeat this for each key you want to learn and from there the One For All will do exactly what your original remote does!
Call your remote’s manufacturer and see if they can provide you with the codes you need. If you want the entire code list, have it sent to you. Make sure you provide the manufacturer with the correct model of your remote control. The model number is located on the inside of the battery latch.
