A blue d’hide body is a piece of blue dragonhide armour worn in the body slot. To wear a blue d’hide body, a player must have a Ranged level of 50 and a Defence level of 40. Players can make blue d’hide bodies through the Crafting skill at level 71 from three blue dragon leathers, granting 210 Crafting experience.
The shield is created by using a yew shield on two pieces of blue dragon leather while having 15 mithril nails and a hammer in the inventory. Creating the shield requires level 69 in Crafting, and grants the player 140 experience.
Blue dragon leather is used in the Crafting skill to make blue dragonhide armour. Players can obtain it by taking a blue dragonhide (a drop from blue dragons) and 20 coins to a tanner, or 45 coins for the Canifis tanner, or by using the Make Leather spell at level 83 Magic.
Dragonhides can be tanned by speaking to tanners, or trading with them. This process costs 20 coins per hide, or 45 if tanning in Canifis. Doing this turns them into dragonhide leather which can be used for Crafting. They can be made into vambraces, bodies, chaps, and shields of the corresponding dragon leather type.
They can be worn at level 40 Ranged and can be made at level 60 Crafting. Crafting requires using a needle, some thread, and two green dragon leather yielding 124 crafting experience. Alternatively you can purchase them from the Champions’ Guild for 3,900 coins or at Seddu’s Adventurer’s Store for 3,705 coins.
All of the pieces can be made through the Crafting skill by members, requiring a total of 6 green dragonleather for the armour, and an additional maple shield, 2 green dragonleather, and 15 steel nails for the shield.
Blue dragonhide vambraces are a piece of blue d’hide armour worn in the hand slot, which require 50 Ranged to wear. They can be made with a Crafting level of 66. Kebbit claws can be used on these vambraces to make blue spiky vambraces, requiring a Crafting level of 32.
Blue dragonhide (also known as Blue d’hide) is a 100% drop item from blue dragons when killed. Players can take hides to a tanner to make blue dragon leather for a fee of 20 coins at a tanner (45 coins from Sbott in Canifis) or by using the Tan Leather lunar spell.
It is made by using a needle and thread on four blue dragon leather, requiring 72 Crafting and giving 280 Crafting experience.

Red dragonhide (also called Red d’hide by tanners) is a 100% drop from red dragons when they die. Players can take it to a tanner to turn it into red dragon leather for a fee of 20 coins, 45 coins from Sbott in Canifis.
Players can make this item through the Crafting skill at level 18 from one soft leather, by using a needle on it with a thread in the inventory granting 27 Crafting experience. They can be bought from Aaron’s Archery Appendages in the Ranging Guild.
