New pets come out each month, and can be adopted with Sapphires at the Sapphire Shop in Jamaa Township or the Claws n’ Paws tree in Appondale. Choose what type of pet you’d like, what their colors & features will be, and then give them a name!

Pets are smaller versions of Animals that accompany the player’s current animal and can be purchased throughout Jamaa. They can be bought in Claws N’ Paws, Flippers N’ Fins, the Diamond Shop, the Pets-Only Party, or through the Pets section of the Change Your Look menu.
Most pets cost 50 Sapphires each but some can be bought for 1,500 Gems, or won as Prizes. Pets occasionally go on sale, usually for 35 Sapphires, and usually before they leave.

Once you have more than one Pet, you’ll like want to know… How do you switch Pets? Tap the animal icon at the bottom left corner of your screen. Tap on your pet’s icon found on the upper left portion of your screen.

The Pet Adoption Token can be redeemed for a random pet using the pet adoption machine on the top floor of Claws ‘N Paws. The Pets colors will be randomized. The pets that are created will have the token’s symbol on their side, unlike regular pets.
