NYLON CANVAS
– Use a soft, clean cloth dampened with fresh water, then immediately rinse the canvas thoroughly with warm water. – Use a soft cloth to blot the bag and let it dry with the handles down. – Protect your bag from prolonged exposure to strong light, intense heat and humidity.
Longchamp bags can be washed in the washing machine! Wash alone on gentle cycle, cold water, regular detergent, then towel dry and hang upside down to finish drying. Won’t ruin the leather! Worked particularly well for lightening light colors to their original state, but did not remove all pen marks/inner stains.

Dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and rub the surface of the stain until it disappears. Be careful to only rub over the stain. For more stubborn stains, make a paste of ½ cream of tartar and ½ lemon juice. Leave on the stain for 10 minutes after applying.
To make a homemade cleaning solution, mix cool water and a few squirts of dish soap. Dip an old toothbrush in the solution, then gently scrub your pocket, working on one area at a time. After scrubbing the bag, wipe it down with a damp cloth to remove all of the soap. Then pat dry with a clean towel.
The nylon material used in Longchamp’s line of handbags makes their purses water-repellent, but not necessarily waterproof. Luckily, water resistance is usually all you need when traveling! Water resistance keeps all your items in the bag dry when it rains or you spill something on it.

Clean leather wallet
To clean leather, mix a solution of warm water and dish soap. Dip a soft cloth in the solution, wring it out, and wipe the outside of the wallet. Use a second clean, damp cloth to wipe away the soap. Dry off with a towel.
Regular care for nylon
Normally, nylon should be washed separately in cold water for best results. However, always check your clothing tags for specific instructions. You can use regular detergents for nylon, but never use chlorine bleach. As a general rule, you should drain your nylon items.
Nylon cannot be dry cleaned. For non-washable items such as upholstery, treat only selectively. To treat stains, dampen the Wash & Stain Bar and gently work into the soiled area(s). Remove soap and dirt with a damp, lint-free cleaning cloth. Be sure to remove all of the soap.
To clean nylon, wipe the dirty area with a damp, soapy cloth. Then blot the area with a dry cloth to remove excess water. Alternatively, you can remove stubborn stains with a cloth dipped in a solution of warm water and non-bleaching detergent.
