A projectile’s “hang time” is also determined by the initial value of the vertical velocity component. The smaller the initial value of vy, the shorter the hang time. The projectile fired at 30 degrees has the smallest vy and therefore the shortest hang time.
First measure the height of your jump in meters and multiply this value by 2. For example, if you jump 1 meter, if you multiply it by 2, you get 2 meters. Then divide this value by the constant value for the acceleration of gravity, which is 9.8 square meters.
