In iTunes or Music app, the settings to convert iTunes songs to MP3 format are easy. Select the songs you want to put on your MP3 player and go to File > Convert > Create MP3 version.
Can they be converted to MP3? While Apple Music songs use AAC format, they are protected by a special type of DRM, so you can’t convert them to MP3. The DRM verifies that you have a valid Apple Music subscription.
