What’s the longest you can rent a Zipcar?

You can book a Zipcar for as little as one hour or as long as 14 days at a time. Bookings can be made in half-hour increments. When booking, keep in mind that the Zipcar you booked is available for others to reserve before and after your reservation.

How many miles per day do you get with Zipcar?

There’s never a limit on how far you can drive your Zipcar, but there is a limit on how many of those miles are covered for free. Most trips in the US come with 180 miles included per 24-hour period, with 20 additional miles for each additional hour (until 180 miles is reached).

Is Zipcar cheaper than Uber?

If you plan on getting behind the wheel only a couple of times a week for an hour at a time, a Zipcar membership is your cheapest option at an average cost of $1,236 a year. What happens if you drop a Zipcar late?

If you’re running late, you’ll be charged for the extra time you used the car, plus an additional late fee: 1- 60 minutes late: $50 ($50 CAD) 61–120 minutes late: $100 ($100 CAD) 121+ minutes late: $150 ($150 CAD)

How does Zipcar know if you’re late?

Zipcar will process your car as returned at that point. So, if you’re late, Zipcar can tell based on the final time that you locked the car doors. That said, don’t forget to lock it using the app or your Zipcard, or you might get charged a late fee even if you are done using the vehicle on time.

Can you drop a Zipcar off at a different location?

Pick up and return these cars and vans to their same dedicated bay. During your reservation you are able to park in other areas, but if you’re stopping over in a space that requires a fee, you’re responsible for paying it. We recommend Roundtrip for longer journeys, and they can be booked by the hour or day/s.

Is fuel included in Zipcar?

Do I have to pay for fuel in a Zipcar? Fuel’s on us! Every trip includes fuel, plus a mileage of 60 miles/day. If you go over the 60 miles, there’s a per mile charge from just 25p/mile, depending on your vehicle.
