Points Expiration
As long as you are an active member of Choice Privileges, your points never expire. However, you must complete at least one qualifying activity every 18 months to maintain an active account and retain your accumulated points.
Choice Privileges® membership allows you to buy points that can be used toward rewards such as hotel stays and gift cards. Or gift points to friends and family so they can enjoy free nights and more.
If you’ve been tinkering with the site, it looks like Marriott allows you to redeem your points at a rate of between 0.3 and 0.4 cents. It’s much better if you redeem your points for hotel stays or transfer them directly to an airline partner.
It’s all based on points and some slot clubs make it very difficult to figure everything out. In general however, you play “X” amounts of money in the machines and you get “Y” points. If you play $100 on a slot machine you may get five points. Every five points are worth one dollar.
Once you have completed the application form and your loyalty status has been approved, the casino will issue you with a virtual, paper or plastic card. Typically you will be given a card similar to your credit/debit card with an identifier such as a barcode, magnetic stripe or chip.
Unfortunately Choice Privileges does not currently allow you to transfer your points to someone else.
The regular price for purchasing Choice points is 0.99 cents per point when you purchase 24,000 points or more (lower amounts have a higher cost per point), so this bonus reflects the price to 0.74 cents per piece .
Stay at any Choice hotel brand and earn 10 points per $1 spent – that’s 1,000 points for spending $100.
Purchased points are typically credited within 24 hours of purchase. A maximum of 180,000 points can be purchased per transaction (unless otherwise permitted and specified by a choice promotion). There may be minimum purchase requirements and purchases may be limited to certain tiers (e.g. 1,000 point tiers).
