The NCR has more quests than any other faction in the game, just keep doing their quests and you’ll eventually be idolized. Camp McCarran has a lot of quests, Forlorn Hope has a lot, and the quests siding with the NCR for the final battle you’ll most likely adore.
Without the Lonesome Road DLC, how does one become idolized by the followers of the apocalypse? Donate medical supplies. Guide Helios to power the entire region and complete any follower quests you encounter. I think if you help the kings, that helps too.
To have the followers support the NCR in Fallout: New Vegas, you must become adored by the followers, complete all of Julie Farkas’ unmarked quests, and talk to Julie about supporting the NCR after you will know when it happens.
Complete the mission they give you (for Hardin it’s killing the Van Graffs, for McNamara it’s tapping Black Mountain’s radar) and you’ll be “idolised” . You may also have to complete Veronica’s mission and get her to stay with the BOS.
It is the best source of money in the entire game, including DLCs. Your reputation with NCR & Co. won’t be dropped because you’re idolized by the Legion. It’s just most quests that give you Legion Glory and add NCR Shame. However, with some careful planning, you can attain idol status with all but one faction.
If the player character can kill Papa Khan unnoticed by the other Khans, Regis becomes the leader of the Khans. Regis will then agree to ally the Khans with the NCR. This is the only result that puts the NCR in line with the Great Khans.
You can either finish Yes Man up to the point of installing him in the Lucky 38 mainframe OR do all the side quests for him (but not both). You can either NCR up to BoS or Kimball.
I would choose NCR if I were you because it feels more fulfilling for the gameplay. Legion is the best choice for a bad/bad karma game, it’s fun to see at least once of you normally side with the NCR or the Yes Man. If not, do it. It’s good to explore the full scope of the story.
When Still in the Dark is complete and McNamara remains Elder, a truce can be signed between the Brotherhood and the NCR.
House in Fallout: New Vegas. If you are interested in their group, it is possible to join their ranks and serve under Caesar. In order to get a chance to join Caesar, you must continue the main quest line until you reach the “Ring-a-Ding-Ding” quest.
They can be found in Hidden Valley along with their spectacular power armor! There are two paths you can take to join the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout: New Vegas. However, you must complete the ‘Still in the Dark’ quest to begin either quest.
Yes Man: The Brotherhood will never support you directly. However, you are willing to ally yourself with the NCR if Elder McNamara is still in power—which is good for you, too, if you’re on good terms with the NCR.
When returning to the Mojave after the ending slides, a nuclear explosion can be seen in the general area of the territory being attacked (or both if the player character is attacking both Legion and NCR ). p>
(G.I Blues can bring shame to NCR, but it’s a very small amount.) Complete the Long Term Care quest. Just talk to James Garret and pay him to increase your reputation. That should be enough to make you adore.
Complete the endgame quest No Gods No Masters for an Independent New Vegas. Impressed by the kings’ ongoing attacks on NCR citizens and soldiers, the Legion offered them an opportunity to be inducted into the Legion.
Finally, in previous Fallout games, the good ending is the cannon ending, and in the New Vegas ending, it appears to be the NCR ending.
Although the Brotherhood of Steel will not side with the Courier and Yes Man, there are three solutions: Destroy the Hidden Vale.
By 2281, the Great Khans are reduced to manufacturing and selling drugs for the Fiends and others, and are less violent than ever, though still very hostile to the NCR. At this point they are not really evil anymore and can be considered neutral.
Veronica will leave when your BoS reputation drops below a certain level. Destroying the BoS will give you massive reputation damage, so you will most likely fall below the reputation required to keep Veronica. At least the NCR quests you can do without having to kill the Brotherhood as far as I remember.
