If your Flip video camera won’t turn on at all, you may need to reset the device. Before doing this, make sure the batteries are not dead. After verifying that the batteries are charged, you can reset certain Flip models by removing and reinserting the battery.
One of the easiest ways to reset the Flip video camera is to simply press and hold the device’s power button for about 10 seconds. This will automatically reset the camera, but will also pause any current actions.
Device is Frozen
Before you dive into the innards of your Flip MinoHD, make sure it doesn’t just need to be reset. To reset the device, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds by inserting a pin into the reset hole on the device until the display cycles off and on.
