I’m a big fan of Rembrandt whitening toothpaste and have been using it for a long time. I like it because the peppermint flavor isn’t overwhelming. It does a wonderful job of keeping my teeth white and my gums healthy. I definitely recommend this toothpaste.

In 2016, Church & Dwight announced that it will be discontinuing the Mentadent brand effective Spring 2017. Since the rights were only for sale in the US and Canada, this had no impact on Unilever, which continues to market and sell Mentadent-branded products in other markets.
Rembrandt Intense Stain was only slightly abrasive (RDA approx. 90), but was also in the midfield in terms of cleaning power. The toothpaste with the best marks for stain removal – Colgate’s Ultrabrite Advanced Whitening – was also one of the most abrasive, achieving an RDA of around 260.
The Rembrandt strips are much better. The packages are easy to open, the strips are easy to apply and stay in place very well. They are also easy to remove. They also work better as they conform to the teeth so no stains are missed, resulting in an even whitening of all tooth surfaces.
Rembrandt is not free from cruelty. They can conduct animal testing either themselves, through their suppliers, or through third parties.
The best toothpaste for teeth with composite bonds or veneers is a non-abrasive gel that can also act as a polish.
Is whitening toothpaste safe for teeth? The short answer is yes, whitening toothpaste is safe for teeth when paired with the right toothbrush and brushing techniques. All toothpaste formulas are rated using the Relative Dentin Abrasivity (RDA) score, which measures how abrasive a toothpaste is.
Our answer was a resounding “no” for the following reason: Many of these toothpastes are abrasive and can damage your tooth enamel. This isn’t the case with all whitening toothpastes on the market, but it’s a risk that many people are unaware of. There are many reasons why a patient would want whiter teeth.
Like all Sensodyne products, this toothpaste is gentle on sensitive teeth. The active ingredients in Sensodyne ProNamel toothpaste are potassium nitrate and sodium fluoride. It also contains silica for a gentle whitening effect.

By discussing your daily oral care routine with your dentist, you can help prevent gum recession in the first place or, if you already have the problem, prevent it from getting worse. Switching to a toothpaste like Corsodyl Toothpaste can help stop and prevent receding gums.
Enamel is the hardest tissue in the body. The problem is that it’s not living tissue, so it can’t regenerate naturally. Unfortunately, you can’t grow it back artificially either – not even with those special toothpastes.
