This is a value-for-money liquid laundry detergent from P&G, formulated for both high-efficiency (HE) and traditional washing machines. It is available in several scents.
Phosphates were long ago removed from detergents because they can encourage excessive plant and algae growth in lakes and rivers, but powders are still full of sodium carbonate and zeolites, which contain hard water ions like calcium and water bind magnesium.

Powder detergents are more stable than their counterparts and retain their cleaning power much longer. Liquid detergents lose their power when mixed with water. If you like shopping in bulk, washing powder is a better choice.
They found that when “stain removal is critical, Persil is the undisputed winner.” In their tests, Persil removed 2% more stains than Tide, but both beat out some other impressive industry names and well-known brands like Gain and Arm & Hammer.
The pods are also problematic for adults. They may squirt in the mouth or eyes if punctured. And because of the high concentration of low-dissolving detergent, they leave more residue on your clothes, towels and linens – leading to rashes and other skin reactions.

This detergent is in every way as good as Tide in its stain-fighting abilities and as a general detergent for everyday laundry, leaving clothes smelling exactly how they should – beautifully clean. Also, the cost per piece is far less than Tide or Gain.
The verdict: All detergents from Aldi are highly recommended. The detergent, fabric softener and stain remover seem to work just as well as their branded competitors.

Era also has a great scent which keeps my clothes smelling great all the time! I don’t like overly perfumed detergents and Era is perfect!
