Given all of the extreme addicts featured on “Intervention,” ironically the HFA is (to my knowledge) one of two deaths to occur before the episodes actually aired. The first death was Lawrence Ryan, who died of cirrhosis of the liver on February 22, 2008, before the March 19, 2008 show airing.
In the episode that aired on Feb. 27, for example, we learned that Season 18 subject Taylor Bittler passed away after filming had ended. This 18th season of Intervention focused on “The Heroin Triangle,” an affluent suburban area north of Atlanta in which the opioid epidemic has run amok.
The final five episodes will air starting in June as the series comes to an end after 243 interventions.
My beautiful daughter Katie suffers terribly from eating disorders as well as acute alcoholism. Her plight was featured on the t.v show intervention. She weighs only 80lbs and almost died during her last hospitilization. She is currently in a rehab and is responding well.
14 INTERVENTION – REAL
And, for the most part, what you see is what you get. The interventions are absolutely real and run by actual addiction counselors. Scenes where substances use illegal substances are not staged.
The average salary for a intervention specialist is $50,720 per year in the United States. 1.8k salaries reported, updated at July 5, 2022.
