Reality TV show Bar Rescue host Jon Taffer brings Taffer’s Tavern to D.C.’s Penn Quarter and the kitchen has a modern twist. Taffer’s Tavern opens in the former dining area of Penn Commons at 700 6th St. NW adjacent to Capital One Arena. Penn Commons closed in 2019 after five years.
