We know this may seem counterintuitive, but Aquatica does not provide complimentary towels to guests. If you don’t bring your own, you’ll need to buy one from a gift shop to use throughout the day.
What should I wear to Aquatica? Please note that Aquatica Orlando is a family experience, so we ask that you wear appropriate swimwear (i.e., no flip-flops please) during your visit. For health & Safety of all our guests, children in diapers must use waterproof protectors.
To pack for a day at Aquatica, I recommend bringing a small bag with towels, extra sunscreen, some spending money, a snack, extra bottles of water, a plastic bag for wet swimsuits, and a change of clothes.
Lots of amenities. A standard cabana at Aquatica San Antonio comes equipped with a refrigerator stocked with chilled bottled water, four souvenir beach towels and a bottle of SPF 50 sunscreen.
Towels – You’ll probably dry off quickly in the Florida heat, but these were nice to have. Aquatica rents out towels if you forget yours. They cost $4 each, but you have to queue at guest services to rent them. Sunscreen – We brought some sunscreen spray to reapply throughout the day.
Yes, water shoes are allowed in the park and on the rides. We also sell them inside the park. Are life jackets/jackets available? Aquatica provides US Coast Guard (USCG) Type III lifejackets in various sizes and Type II infant life jackets free of charge throughout the park.
But even if it gets chilly outside, don’t expect the water to be chilly too – Aquatica has a state-of-the-art water heating system that adapts to the climate outside, but it can actually be heated up to 84 degrees b>!
You should bring essentials like beach towels, swim goggles, swim diapers and/or swimsuits, sunscreen, and bottled water (or a refillable water bottle), but certain items (like snacks and coolers) are not available at Aquatica Orlando allowed.
In fact, you can even take these cups to any of the SeaWorld parks across the country (Aquatica, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, SeaWorld San Diego) and they use them for refills there, too.< /p>
You don’t need to bring a change of clothes, although the toilets have shower and changing areas. Towels are available for rent (think it was $4 per towel) if you don’t have one with you. Check the height restrictions for each ride.
What is the recommended attire for visiting SeaWorld? SeaWorld San Antonio is a family destination and requires that guests wear appropriate clothing while in the park. T-shirts, shoes, and pants/shorts must be worn at all times (Swimwear allowed in Aquatica).
If you’re not going to Aquatica, SeaWorld’s water park, you probably don’t need a bathing suit. That being said, on days that I’m taking the waterslides at theme parks, I usually find it helpful to also wear a bathing suit underneath my regular clothes as they tend to dry faster.
It was perfect because the queues for these rides were about an hour long and we just kept walking. We were only in the park for 5 hours and rode over 20 slides, plus the lazy river and wave pool. It was amazing. In our opinion, the fast queue time was totally worth the trip.
Yes, if you don’t mind the price. SeaWorld’s Aquatica water park has a lot to offer, but it can get crowded and it’s worth the price for your own spot.
Ultimately you can’t go wrong with either option. Both water parks cover the basics like a lazy river and wave pool, and both have a variety of rides for all ages. Depending on your family’s age and interests, one may be better than the other.
