Transfer Administrator Privileges
Click the Users tab at the top. In the primary user’s name field, click Edit (appears to the right of your name). Click Grant Admin Privileges to the right of your name at the top of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select the secondary user you want to give admin privileges to.
What do I need to take over someone else’s account? The checking account must not be overdue. You are required to provide us with certain documentation, including signatures of both the current and new account holder/primary user.
Contact us and tell the agent what type of account change you would like to make. They will ask you for some information to process your request, including your email address. After your interview, you will receive an email with a link to upload your completed forms and all required supporting documents.
The only person authorized to make this transfer is the person responsible for the bill. Other family members, friends or acquaintances are not eligible.
Xfinity Early Termination Fee
The Xfinity early termination fee is $110 for a 12-month contract and $230 for a 24-month contract. The longer you stay on your contract, the more the early termination fee goes down. For both 12-month and 24-month contracts, the early termination fee decreases by $10 each month.

You CAN have more than 1 ACCOUNT in the same household. You do NOT have to adjust the address. The two modems WILL NOT bump into each other. If you change an address, an auditor will come out to make sure 123-A Apple Street exists. If not, you will be cancelled.
Log in to My Account as the primary user. Click the Users tab. Find the user you want to remove, then click Edit to the right of their name. Click Remove to permanently delete the ID from your account.
Secondary User Roles
The Manager role provides access to services, settings, and billing features. The member role allows access to some services and troubleshooting for an account and limited access to settings, but not access to billing settings within the account.
Start online or visit your nearest Xfinity Store. Just remember to visit xfinity.com/stores to confirm store hours before your visit. To complete your move, you’ll need to confirm your account details, confirm your move details, and provide your new address.
To begin the phone cancellation process, call 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489). When you call, respond to the menu by typing Say “Cancel Service”. Once you reach someone, ask if you’re speaking to Retention. If it’s not an employee retention, let them know you want to be transferred.
