Log in to TurboTax and open or continue your tax return if you haven’t already. From the left menu, select Control Tools, then Erase & Start over. Answer Yes to confirm.
TurboTax: TurboTax accounts cannot be deleted. As long as you haven’t paid your TurboTax Online fee (or registered a free version), you can delete all entered data using the “Clear and start again” function. Once you have paid or registered, Intuit is required by law to keep copies of your return.
You can restart your return as long as you haven’t made a payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered.
There are a few reasons why you cannot delete TurboTax Online and start again: You are using a free TurboTax product and have already registered (free users are asked to close their accounts before them register file) You are using a paid version of TurboTax and have already paid.
To start another tax return in TurboTax Online, do the following: Log out of TurboTax Online (if you are currently logged in). Select the TurboTax Online product you want to use for the second tax return and continue. Set up a new login for the second return on the Create Account screen.
Can I re-create my account after it has been deleted? No, but you can create a new account with a new email address or the same email address after seven days.
By default, TurboTax saves tax data and PDF files in the Documents (or My Documents) folder > TurboTax folder on your PC. To move the return to your PC’s recycle bin, navigate to Documents > > TurboTax, select the file and tap “Delete” on your keyboard (you can also right-click the file and choose “Delete”).
If you have used TurboTax Online, simply log into your account and select “Modify a Filed and Accepted Tax Return”. If you have used our CD/Download product, report Go back to your tax return and select “Change a submitted return”. You must file a separate Form 1040-X for each tax return that you amend.
Factory reset will erase your data from the phone. While data stored in your Google account can be recovered, all apps and their data will be uninstalled. To restore your data, make sure it’s in your Google account.
