Cyberstep announced on March 18 that the dedicated PC version of Onigiri will be discontinued on June 11, 2021. This does not currently affect the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, or Steam versions of the game. The Xbox One version of Onigiri was previously discontinued on July 31, 2020.
However, due to difficult circumstances regarding the cost of maintaining the service of the title in the EU region and prospects for its future performance, the decision to close the servers and the service for both PlayStation 4 as well as for XBOX One Onigiri was manufactured in the EU area.
